About us:

As a medi­um-sized com­pa­ny with around 50 employees, we have been plan­ning and imple­men­ting modern com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on sys­tems for public trans­port for over 25 years. The­se include pas­sen­ger infor­ma­ti­on sys­tems, pas­sen­ger coun­ting sys­tems, and onboard com­pu­ter sys­tems. Com­ple­te pro­duct deve­lo­p­ment – from design and hardware/software to manu­fac­tu­ring – takes place in-house.

Your respon­si­bi­li­ties:

• Deve­lo­p­ment of modern visua­liza­ti­ons using Qt/QML, with a strong focus on design and layout
• Imple­men­ta­ti­on of appli­ca­ti­on logic in C++/QML
• Clo­se col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with embedded and backend developers
• Direct inter­ac­tion with cus­to­mers to under­stand requi­re­ments, design ide­as, and func­tion­al goals
• Advi­sing cus­to­mers on UI/UX best prac­ti­ces, rea­da­bili­ty, usa­bi­li­ty, and tech­ni­cal feasibility
• Par­ti­ci­pa­ti­on in archi­tec­tu­re design and tech­ni­cal decision-making

Your pro­fi­le:

• Solid expe­ri­ence with Qt/QML and C++
• Suc­cessful­ly com­ple­ted degree in Com­pu­ter Sci­ence, Soft­ware Engi­nee­ring, Media Infor­ma­tics, Mul­ti­me­dia, Human-Com­pu­ter Inter­ac­tion, or a com­pa­ra­ble field
• Alter­na­tively: com­ple­ted voca­tio­nal trai­ning in the IT field (e.g. appli­ca­ti­on deve­lo­p­ment spe­cia­list) with rele­vant, veri­fia­ble pro­fes­sio­nal experience
• Enjoy­ment in not only pro­gramming inter­faces but also desig­ning them
• A keen eye for detail: pixels, spa­cing, animations
• Expe­ri­ence inte­gra­ting exter­nal inter­faces (VDV301, ITxPT, REST/JSON, SOAP, XML, etc.) using C++/Qt and effi­ci­ent data processing
• Ide­al­ly, pri­or expo­sure to public transport
• Crea­ti­ve, ser­vice-ori­en­ted, and high­ly relia­ble way of working
• Good Ger­man and Eng­lish skills; French is a plus
