The Eyeo­neSmart sys­tem con­sists of video or infrared sen­sors which gene­ra­te a three-dimen­sio­nal image in the door area of vehicles.

The height of all scan­ned objects is deter­mi­ned on the basis of this image. With this method, indi­vi­du­al peo­p­le can be coun­ted with a high degree of relia­bi­li­ty, even when the­re are lar­ge num­bers of passengers.

The came­ra images can be recor­ded as a video and thus used later to check the auto­ma­tic counting.
